Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. The two older sisters were brought up together and often faced bullying in school due to the size of her thighs. Graham's ADHD (ADH) was initially diagnosed just after finishing elementary school. ) however she managed to conquer this, as well as others personal hurdles in her early years. Graham's talents were discovered at the age of 12 by an agent when she was out looking for a job in Nebraska. In 2009, she was featured in "Glamour magazine"'s "These Bodies Can be Beautiful regardless of size" alongside Sally Singer. Graham became a headline again when she was featured in a commercial to promote Lane Bryant that ended up being barred from several countries. The ad garnered more than 800,000 hits prior to being taken down. The situation grew uncontrollable, and she spoke out in The "Tonight Show" hosted by Jay Leno. Graham rapidly gained fame, and today is considered to be one of the top American plus-size models. Grande began acting and singing when she was a young child. When she was in 2008, the singer was cast as a part of 13 on Broadway. Broadway production 13 shortly thereafter, and began playing small parts in television shows. Her biggest break came in 2010 when she got a lead role in the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious. She was Cat Valentine, a teenager studying at a school for performing arts. After the demise of the sitcom in 2013, she appeared on the sitcom Sam & Cat.
