Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a part of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. As Artistic director of SSC, she was the company's composer/musician/text director as well as the costume, set and music design. In her role, she is usually the director of her group Her first directorial role was in SSC King Lear.
